Grateful Patient Writes for More Info Re: "Fibromyalgia..."

(Volume 21, Issue 5) Dear TAC: In Volume 21, issue 5 of The American Chiropractor there was an article written by Brice E. Vickery, D.C., entitled, "Fibromyalgia: A Den Of Demons." I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about seven years ago and have been treated by an MD for all of this time. The treatment, although helping with some of the symptoms, has not done anything to give me back the quality of life I had before this diagnosis. My MD has admitted that he really doesn't know anything else to do. I have been a patient of Dr. Frank E. Stark, D.C., for the last 35+ years, and he has been trying to find an answer for the problems that I am experiencing. He forwarded the article mentioned above to me and, after reading it, I found that it made more sense than most of the other articles that I have read in my search for help. We would like to be able to contact Dr. Vickery to get help in obtaining information to the tests mentioned in the article, as well as the nutritional supplements. If it is possible, we would appreciate any and all help you could give us. Sincerely, Carolyn R. Cook, Topeka, KS Dr. FrankE. Stark, D.C., Chillicothe, MO Editor's Note: Happy to help out. We have received many inquiries from this article on Fibromyalgia. To contact the author Dr. Vickery, call 803-644-060.
