In this issue... It's the holiday season! Definitely the best time of the year, when we celebrate the past and look forward to the New Year ahead! I'm happy to say that all of our hard work this year has paid off! Your participation and loyal readership arc a huge part of what motivates us to keep working harder to meet your needs and those of your patients. The amazing stories of health and healing that come across our desks each day also motivate us to strive to connect you with the information you need in order to replicate these successes. Continuing along those lines, this issue of TAC highlights many more of the life altering procedures that you'll also have access to at our first annual symposium featuring 40 of chiropractic's best techniques and healing methods: CHIROPRACTIC06 on Feb. 13-15, 2006. Be sure to register today on page 37 of this issue, before time runs out! This is the first time in chiropractic in which you'll have access to up to 40 techniques all in one place! As you read, you'll notice the "Speaker at CHIROPRACTIC'06" logos appear on articles written by our speakers all throughout this issue. Here's your chance to find out more about the techniques you can learn and witness in the Republic of Panama—all in one 3-day period! Beginning on the cover, Dr. Robert Gordon is featured administering Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA). This technique is a bit controversial, partially because it involves chiropractors and medical doctors working together; but the end result is what makes it all worth it—patients get better fast! We're talking about maybe 5% of your patients—whom you previously might have had to refer out—who'll need this technique. But, what a difference you can make for them! Be sure to see the full story beginning on page 38, by Dr. Gordon, who's actually written the book on MUA...or the textbook rather, titled Manipulation Under Anesthesia, Concepts in Theory and Application. We've also got an article on Dr. Arlan Fuhr's solution to sciatica, or rather one of the causes of sciatica, referred to as Pirifonnis Syndrome, on page 52. Dr. Lisa Upledger discusses using CranioSacral Therapy in conjunction with chiropractic so that your adjustments hold better on page 56. Dr. Robert Wiegand is featured in our "Innovations" section, describing his Primal Perception method, which allows you to "access extraordinary perceptual abilities" on page 12. Finally, focusing on technique, the most life impacting article this issue for you and your patients may very well be Dr. R.B. Mawhiney's article on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (S1DS). I'm sure all of your patients will agree with me when I say that there is nothing they care for more than their own children. If there's any way in which you may help protect their newborn infants, it's by reading, using, and promoting the information in this article beginning on page 42. Of course, there are many more great things to read about in this issue. As always, we look forward to your feedback! Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon and seeing you here in Panama for CHIROPRACTIC'06. Sign up TODAY! Until then, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
