In this issue... I t's our annual itxiiniqui- issuk and, hoy, iiavi-: we got techniques for you! This issue we bring you information on six great techniques to address your patients with a wide scope of conditions--from snoring to scoliosis. With this issue, TAC has now featured 46 of the more than 100 existing techniques out there.. .and it's getting harder for us to find anyone (alive) who'll tell us about those other techniques; so we welcome (dare) you to contact us if we haven't already featured your favorite technique. Don't worry, though, we've got plenty of ground to cover on techniques and those presented in this issue, beginning on page 20, will be great tools to add to your tool kit. Speaking of tools, we've got an interesting look at some new adjusting instruments in Dr. Peter Gyrst's article on page 14, in which he describes how and why he developed a whole new generation of adjusting instruments. While Dr. Gyrst's story isn't one of our biggest, he got bumped up to cover story status when we received the fun-spirited photo of him adjusting a knight. Needless to say, we all fell in love with the photo and we hope you do too! If you've got any great photos of chiropractic you want to share with us, email them to us and we'll be using the best one(s) in upcoming issues of TAC. Keeping the focus on technique, plans are in progress for The American Chiropractor's first annual chiropractic symposium to be held here in the Re- public of Panama, Feb. 12'1'-19th, 2006. So mark your calendars and start planning ahead to attend! Yes, a whole week of sun, fun, & chiropractic! We're bringing together the "[Best of the Best" in the profession with a focus on technique, research, evidence-based models, legal & insurance issues, new technologies, diagnostic tools, and more! This is geared to be a profession unifying experience as well as a mind expanding one. The World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) is co-sponsoring the event, so we'll be including chiropractors from all around the world to speak and participate. Contact us today to let us know if you're interested in attending, as we'll be finalizing attendance by November of this year! (See the ad on page 55 for more details.) Well, there you have it! Techniques, tools, and an annual seminar/vacation in the tropics where you can bring it all together! As always, read on; there's much more! Looking forward to hearing from you soon and seeing you here in Panama! Jaclyn Busch Touzard Executive Editor [email protected] For chiropractic.
