A Glitch in the Matrix? RE: Volume 27 Issue 13 Dear Jaclyn, I am very glad we had the opportunity to talk about the article "A Glitch in the Matrix", authored by Dr. Jeanne Ohm. As I stated to you over the phone, I feel this was a misrepresentation of the matrix and defamatory to Dr. Fallon. I would also request that this article be removed from your website. I am very concerned that this article, if read by the general public, would be misconstrued that chiropractic may be harmful to children. The statements made by Dr. Ohm are not completely correct and eir on personal opinion rather than facts. The area of pediatric chiropractic is always up for debate, outside our profesĀsion as well as within our profession. Why provide any more ammunition that can be used to prevent children from receiving chiropractic care? The matrix has been used by state asĀsociations, individual chiropractors and others to substantiate care not limit it. I would be happy to send you a copy if you do not have one. I feel once you fully read the matrix, you will understand how this document helps the chiropractor and the little patients they care for. I hope that chiropractors will one day lift each other up professionally rather than tear each other down. What a mighty force we would be if we worked together for the good of the profession and the patients. Sincerely, Dr. Lora Tunis ICA Pediatric Council
