The idea of vitalism is centered on the belief that organic matter is governed by some other types of force, than the forces imposed on inanimate, inorganic objects. As science has developed over time, and more is understood and measured about organic processes, and specifically, the human body, the idea of vitalism has diminished in prominence, as scientific explanation is able to explain earlier held beliefs. This month, we are taking a look at a phenomenon of chiropractic, bom out of vitalism, which has recently begun to use Functional Neurology to help explain some of the results that practitioners were experiencing for years. Take this opportunity to read about the past, present and future of Applied Kinesiology, as a tribute to Dr. George Goodheart, beginning on page 28.

We have something else very exciting for you this month! You may have noticed that this issue was mailed along with a copy of the premier issue of the patient-oriented magazine titled Better Living! Be sure to lay this out for your patients to read while they wait for their appointment, or session. Let us help them achieve optimal health, and entertain them with some of the interesting chiropractic patients from around the world. It may help some of your patients understand what to expect as they progress through care. If you’d like to order in bulk, please send an e-mail to [email protected]. If you have an interesting patient you think would be good to feature, let us know, by sending an e-mail to betterliving@ amchiropractor.com.

Thank you for your continued support!

Until Next Month!
