Latin American Federation of Chiropractic Seeks Support to Promote Accreditation in Latin America

NEWS

The Latin American Federation of Chiropractic (FLAQ in Spanish) is the regional organization representing National Associations of chiropractors in Latin America.

Despite support from virtually all National Associations and duly qualified doctors of chiropractic in its region, FLAQ has no significant revenue base, no paid staff and is served by volunteers only. However, it has a major role to play in the years immediately ahead in establishing appropriate educational and practice standards throughout Latin America. This is a time when there are 3 schools in Mexico, 2 in Brazil and 1 in Chile and the practice of chiropractic remains unregulated in most countries.

With many new schools developing in the region, we see at this moment the need to implement the CCE-LA as an independent, internationally recognized, accreditation body, responsible for ensuring compliance with the high standards of chiropractic education and training. Drs. Joseph Busch (Panama), Ana Paula Facchinato (US), Daniel Facchini (Brazil), John Hyland (US,) Mayda Serrano (Puerto Rico), Noe Velasquez (Mexico), Percy Montano (Chile) and Ricardo Fujikawa (Spain) are donating

Study Proves that Bone Enlarges with Injury Could this explain recurrent subluxations?

Researchers at the University of California have discovered that bone structure enlarges with injuryi. For example, a spinal injury can cause an enlargement of one of the articular processes or even part of the vertebral body. The photo at right was taken from an actual cast of C1. The right lateral mass measures 2 mm. larger than the left in all dimensions. This enlargement could appear to be a subluxation and result in many of the same neurological consequences, however conventional treatment would have little or no effect.

Matrix Repatteming is a gentle, evidence-based assessment and treatment system that normalizes bone stmcture (verified by independent radiologists). It will allow you to restore articular biomechanics, avoid many spinal, hip, knee and shoulder surgeries and help your patients enjoy life without pain!

“Matrix Repatteming has changed my life and my career. It is the most powerful clinical approach I have ever come across, and I will never go back to the old way of doing things.”
