Charlie DuBois, president of Standard Process Inc.", a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of nutritional whole food supplements, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP). As a board member, he will participate in overseeing the development and implementation of F4CP's Campaign for Chiropractic, a public relations campaign aimed to increase public awareness and appreciation of the value of chiropractic care. To date the Campaign for Chiropractic has educated millions of Americans about the importance of chiropractic care. The campaign targets both the chiropractic community and the general public through a variety of outreach programs, including fundraising, print and broadcast advertising, public relations, and public service announcements. Since the start of the Campaign for Chiropractic, Standard Process has committed over $250,000 to the initiative. Charlie DuBois has also personally challenged Standard Process chiropractic customers to join in the effort by offering to match, dollar for dollar (up to $100,000), their 2008 pledges to F4CP. A non-profit corporation, F4CP aims to increase the number of people who seek chiropractic treatment and to educate consumers about this conservative, effective form of treatment.
