Tracy's Tips
Greetings, Super CA!
Well, we've reached the midway point of the year! This issue has so much jam-packed information in it for you to better your office!
You will find in the "Stress and Poor Digestion," article from Keith Giaquinto, DC, on page 12, a lot of great information for you and for your patient, for lessening the discomfort which can be caused by poor digestion, and some health improvement ideas. In the Kathy Mills Chang article, "Are You Listening?" Kathy does a great job reminding you of the important things to listen for, and the important things to say, as well as when to not talk, but to listen to your patients instead. Sometimes the most important thing you can do for people is just to shut up, and LISTEN to what they say. Find out on page 10!
Then, too, don't miss, in Cole Hosenfeld's article, on page 6 “When training counts: The advantage of teamwork in today’s healthcare," how much of a difference that you can make with your CA training! The scope of Chiropractic is a wide one, and can offer you and your patients a different view of ways to treat them! This is what will set your doctor's office apart in treating pain and dysfunction, and can make a life of difference to your patients!
Finally, a very important and sometimes perplexing question can be when the patient wants to know how much to pay after their visit. Lisa Maciejewski's article “ The Billing Byte: When a patient asks ‘What do I owe?’ ” will help you with some guidelines on how to answer this delicate question informatively.
Don't forget to let our advertisers know where you've seen their products and services advertised in THE CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT! They are the benefactors, for which we are able to bring you all of these informative and helpful educational articles!
