Welcome inside this issue of The American Chiropractor Magazine! We’ve been working tirelessly to get you this months edition, which is full of pearls of wisdom that will help you serve your patients even better! This month, we have part 3 of The Mechanism of the Chiropractic Spinal Adjustment/ Manipulation: Bio-Neuro-

Mechanical Effects on page 30. I’m not aware that there has been such a complete effort to define these important topics for the profession, using recent research. Dr. Bill Owens, and Dr. Mark Studin have done a great job presenting the most recent, relevant infonnation on these topics. Clearly, based on their findings, there should never be a doubt of the existence of the vertebral subluxation complex, and the effects of the chiropractic spinal adjustment.

That’s not all, though, you will need to get up to date on the most recent statistics related to the opiod epidemic, and what changes in legislation related to the use of opiates will mean for your practice, if you decide to treat your patients based on pain related treatment interventions. Flip to page 54 now, for this timely article titled The Opiod Epidemic.

Things are starting to get interesting in the Trump presidency, with clear changes in attitudes related to pain management, and threat to the infrastructure of the medical industrial complex. We’re keeping our eyes on it, and will see you in future issues with updates to all the relevant recent information.

Read this one cover to cover, keep up the good work!
