Palmer to Celebrate 125 Years of Chiropractic
It started with a movement of hands that changed spinal health and well-being forever. In 1895, D.D. Palmer adjusted Harvey Lillard in downtown Davenport, Iowa, and the chiropractic profession was bom. Today, there are more than 70,000 licensed chiropractors across the USA, and an emerging profession of chiropractic internationally as well. Today, more than ever, chiropractic has earned a broad acceptance and appreciation from the public, and in national healthcare systems for its conservative approach to spinal care.
In 2020, chiropractors worldwide will mark the 125 th anniversary of the founding of our profession. This milestone offers everyone in the profession the opportunity to join in celebrating and promoting what chiropractic offers: a world of unlimited health and potential.
You are invited to join everyone in Davenport, Iowa from Sept. 17-19, 2020 where there will be a chiropractic-wide weekend of special events to learn from each other, celebrate our shared past in chiropractic, and embrace the future of our profession.
