We take great care in who we bring on board and only partner with individuals who are laser-focused on helping others. When you have an organization built around supporting the providers who earn out our mission of getting patients out of pain, and with an evidcnccd-bascd approach of helping patients that produces amazing outcomes, you end up with something pretty special. Every day we're able to help people who arc in pain and who have been told their only options arc to have surgery or live with their conditions. We're lucky enough that our outcomes speak for themselves and have resulted in rapid growth. TAC: What types of patients does Airrosti's attract? CC: The typical patient has pain or function issues that impacts their ability to give 100%. and oftentimes affects sleep, interferes with fitness goals, and hinders work productivity. Mam of them—about 45%—are suffering from chronic conditions. However, for all conditions, acute and chronic, the overall outcome visit average is 3.1 visits for injury resolution. The common thread among our patients is that they arc all anxious to return to a pain-free life. TAC: How has healthcare reform impacted growth? Ty Nickleberry (TN): Healthcare reform actually seems to be working in our favor. Patients and payers arc both more interested than ever in moving from fee to value. They want their providers engaged in delivering accountable care that works, and they want it measured. Airrostis patient-centered and outcomes-based model is a plug-and-play for organizations and individuals seeking efficiency and effectiveness. TAC: What type of Chiropractor is a good lit at Airrosti? (TN) At Airrosti. we're more interested in character attributes than specific educational background or work experience. We tend to attract doctors who demonstrate a strong work ethic, who arc dedicated to fulfilling commitments, and who have strong values. Ultimately, were looking for providers who want to be part of something greater tlian themselves, to deliver patient-centered care, and who truly want to make a positive impact in the world. Those are the types of people we find to be the best fit here. TAC: How long docs the onboarding process last? (TN): Our interview process alone can take up to three months. The reason for that is because everything we do relics on the people we bring in. Once we make an offer, new team members come to San Antonio for a six-week formal training program. Upon completion of training, providers arc placed in locations (currently across six states) that arc most often within primary care physician offices. The initial time at our training center in San Antonio is critical. It allows new providers to develop the critical disciplines necessary to deliver evidence-based care through our clinical pathways and get a good feel for our culture. That's important. TAC: Docs Airrosti work with any professional teams? Jason Garrett (JG): We do. In fact, we have the privilege of working with several professional, collegiate, and Olympic teams, including but not limited to the Houston Rockets. Texas Longhorns. and Oklahoma State Cowboys. Airrosti is also the chosen provider group to lead the athlete sen ices for the Reebok CrossFit Games, where the world's toughest athletes will compete for the title of the Fittest on Earth™. During the event. Airrosti will treat competition-related soft tissue injuries, help athletes maintain peak performance, and keep competitors as healthy as possible during the grueling competition week. To us. each patient is equally important, whether they have a high profile or arc an average Joe. The great thing about working with professional teams and higher profile athletes is that it adds a layer of credibility to what we do. When people sec that these organizations choose to work with Airrosti. it sends a pretty powerful message that what were doing is consistent and that it works. TAC: Do you have any recommended marketing strategies that chiropractors can do to attract new patients? And to keep current patients? JG : Our marketing strategics arc simple. We don't want to keep patients: we want to fix their injuries and teach them to take ownership of their long-term outcome by teaching them strategies for staying healthy. By doing what is always in the best interest of the patient, we have created over 200.000 walking ambassadors for Airrosti. which is illustrated by our 99.8% "recommend to friends and family" rate. TAC: What kind of goals sit on the horizon? CC: Ongoing growth and expansion into new markets is always our goal because the more we grow, the more people we're able to help. We have to be careful, of course, to do tliat in a way that ensures we're able to maintain the culture, quality care, and outcomes we're known for. but that's the goal—grow so we can positively impact more people. TAC: Any final words for our readers? Airrosti is an ideal opportunity for chiropractors who truly want to focus on their patients and not spend time dealing with the "business" of running a business. This is one reason Airrosti is the largest private sector employer of chiropractors in the US. ^ You may contact Airrosti at: [email protected] ► For more information or to schedule an appointment call 1-800-404-6050 or visit www.airrosti.com.
