Dear CA's,

Welcome to our February bi-monthly edition of THE CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT!

This edition has a special interview feature story with a veteran Chiropractic Assistant, Melanie Bleem, of Bleem Family Chiropractic. Melanie shares her story on how it is working side by side with her husband and chiropractor for the past 20 years, and what she's doing today to keep on top of things in the changing health care environment. Look for her interview on page 6.

Next, Nancy Singleton offers a great and simple instruction list of what you can do as the CAto help the clinic run more smoothly and successfully in her article “Organization is the Key to Success... Are You Putting Out Fires or Growing Your Practice?” starting on page 4. And along similar lines, Dr. Keith Giaquinto will win you over with his perspective of the CAas “the most important person” in the clinic in his article, “The Importance of Front Desk First Impressions” on page 10.

Finally, there's much more inside worth checking out! From Mark Kilduff's article on pg 16 “Off-site, Not Out of Mind. How a Remote Bookkeeper Makes Sense and Saves Dollars” to Dr. Laurie Mueller's “Anatomy in Action Series” which features “Thoracic Outlet Syndrome” on page 18. All this and more inside this edition of THE CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT!

Keep reading, spread the word, and tell us what you'd like to see in our next issue mailing in April!

Until then, keep up the great work!

Best Always,

Jaclyn Touzard
