From the Director's Desk
Memo
Chiropractic was founded on the principle that the body has an innate ability to heal itself when given the correct environment to do so. As the profession has developed and as different schools began to educate chiropractors, all with the same philosophy but perhaps with different interpretations, the inclusion of a variety of natural arts has become prominent and shared.
This issue celebrates the natural arts and their scientific development. The chiropractic adjustment is the primary tool, but chiropractors often rely on nutritional influences, supplementation, and even homeopathy to effect the changes necessary for the patient. From orthotics to gut microflora, this issue contains an absolute gold mine of gems that you can begin using for your patients’ betterment today, tomorrow, and even 10 to 20 years from now. Clearly, this is the first step in the journey.
You may find this issue online, along with the archives at digital.theamericanchiropractor.com. Be sure to place your office copy of Better Living in your waiting room for all to enjoy, and follow us on Instagram @ betterlivingmag!
Keep up the great work!
