Welcome to the February issue of The American Chiropractor! What a great time to read about the interesting journey of Dr. Cynthia ShaftToll, the child of a chiropractor, from a family of chiropractors, who after giving birth to seven children found herself at the beginning of a journey to open a new clinic. Well, what she learned from that struggle, and how she’s used that experience to found a support group for women chiropractors (WDCs) that have been yearning to connect with other women practitioners and share their experiences sounds like an idea whose time has come. Don’t miss this chance to read the feature interview, “Chiropractic Women of the World Unite!” beginning on page 20.

Also, Dr. Miles Bodzin makes his way back to the pages explaining that there is a bit more at stake for the prepay discount plans that you may not be aware of. Flip to page 32 now to learn why you may be affecting your bottom line more than you realize.

This issue is being mailed along with The Chiropractic Assistant, in its 6th year. Be sure read through it first, and then pass it along to all of your CAs! You may have each of your CAs subscribe online by going to www. the chiropractic as si stant. c om

Finally, The American Chiropractor turns 40 this year! In celebration, we’ve brought forth some of the sights from years past. Flip to page 50 now to take a peek. Look for us online at digital.theamericanchiropractor.com, where you can find our archives dating back to 2000.
