From the Director's Desk
Hello Doc, I’m not sure if you noticed, but the entire U.S. medical system has been undergoing an overhaul lately, and many would describe its current condition as a national crisis at this point. In these times of crisis, it is
necessary to reconsider your sources of patient income. According to Dr. Ray Foxworth, this evaluation should be done annually. Read some of the tips that Dr. Ray Foxworth has for you on page 18, when considering “Financial Policies that Make Dollars and Sense.”
This month, we were able to catch up with Dr. John Amaro, to get his thoughts on the changes he has seen through the years. Dr. Amaro has a unique perspective, as he is one of the first chiropractors that began using acupuncture on his patients, and has taught many of the chiropractors, and medical doctors that currently use acupuncture, going back to the early 70’s, through the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (IAMA). Flip to page 26 now to read this historical interview.
