Getting Nutritional with Getting Adjustments to Hold

Subluxations are your area of expertise. They are the bread and butter of your profession. You make adjustments and give your patients advice on howto help them hold. Even when patients do a fantastic job on the followthrough, some adjustments hold while others don't. So what's up with that?
The answer lies at the nutritional level. You've done nothing wrong anatomically or physically. Your adjustments work wonders. It's just that those wonders need some nutritional backup to stay wonderful.
Subluxation Beats Health, Adjustment Beat Subluxation, Inadequate Nutrition Beats Adjustment
Let’s break down subluxations and adjustments, touching on what you know and leading into what you may not know.
The misalignment of your spine or joints puts pressure on your nerves. The nervous system is hooked up to your brain and controls every living cell, tissue, and organ. When there’s an interference with the nerve fibers carrying those signals, then pain, inflammation, and other health conditions arise.
Stresses on the body cause subluxations of the spine. Often, the stress is caused by a trauma, such as an accident, surgery, or improper lifting.
More commonly, bones infringe upon nerves because muscles become weak or imbalanced due to daily stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, or simply being over the age of 25. Twenty-five. That’s it. Most patients don’t know that the human body starts losing muscle mass so early in life.
When posture-related muscles are weak or lacking, the vertebrae in the spine can become misaligned. Then some of the nerve fibers that run through the spinal column get pinched, cutting off the circuit to a certain body part or system, which can then no longer function optimally. This is why subluxations may cause more problems than just pain.
Less Obvious Symptoms of Subluxations:
• Digestive issues
• Headaches
• Impaired thinking
• Poor judgment
The pinched nerves stemming from the spine run to organs related to the above symptoms. Research has proven that chiropractic adjustments remove subluxations and improve healing time.
Due to subluxations, consistent abnormal motions, overuse, or injuries, these joints begin to degenerate. The damage to the joint-space tissues creates friction, pain, and inflammation. Without healthy cartilage, the joints have nothing to act as shock absorbers. Other joints, such as knees, hips, and elbows, use purely straight cartilage materials. Research shows that overthe-counter (OTC) and prescription anti-inflammatories actually deteriorate the joints instead of helping them.1314
Many informed doctors, athletes, and the public know that specific forms of glucosamine and chondroitin have years of double-blind university research proving that they rebuild joint tissue. Many progressive orthopedic surgeons will even recommend that patients try those nutrients before considering surgery.
Some people have excellent results, while others do not. The reason is the form of said nutrients, along with the delivery system or lack thereof. With the proper delivery system, the nutrients are delivered at the cellular level where the body can use them. Ultimately, without proper nutrition, your adjustments won’t work the wonders you know they should.
Nutrition Beats Subluxation and Supports Adjustment
Form and delivery ensure that every person receives the joint rebuilding benefits from glucosamine and chondroitin. In addition to these ingredients, it is important to use other research-proven compounds to rebuild the joints. This is especially true concerning the discs in your spinal column. Testing and research have shown that organic manganese helps support and rebuild disc cartilage material.
Manganese is essential for normal skeletal and connective tissue development. A deficiency of manganese results in abnormal bone and cartilage formation. The manganese retention of the tested manganese was almost 61% greater than of the inorganic salt source (manganese chloride). In body tissues, where manganese is normally concentrated (bone, heart, liver, and brain), manganese retention from the chelate was over 100% more than from the chloride.
The nutrients methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) and the herb yucca also have joint repair research. When combined, the university research-proven nutrients glucosamine, chondroitin, manganese, MSM, and yucca plant were shown to improve joint rebuilding.
The Full Array of Proven Nutrients
Creatine (patented magnesium creatine chelate and creatine monohydrate)
Creatine has over 500 university studies proving its ability to help with lean muscle development. Its purpose is to ensure nutrients are delivered at the cellular level for ATP. The studied version doesn’t lead to excess water retention, which straight creatine can. The blend showed an ability to generate and regenerate ATP. It hugely outperformed creatine monohydrate taken alone at higher doses.
BCAAs (leucine isoleucine and valine delivered in enzyme protein matrix)
Research showed that specific amounts consistently improved anabolism and muscle growth, along with increased lean muscle mass, more efficiently than testosterone.
Magnesium (patented amino acid chelated)
Easily 70% of the population has a magnesium deficiency. This leads to catabolism, or the wasting away of muscle. Supplementing just magnesium has proven to be highly beneficial, but it’s tricky. When done wrong, it leads to nonabsorption and diarrhea. The studied form of magnesium showed an ability to increase muscle efficiently, and without the unwanted side effects.
Chromium (amino acid chelated and polynicotinate)
Chromium serves the purpose of regulating blood sugar and cortisol levels. Cortisol feeds into catabolism. The studied version stabilized both while helping sustain and build muscle.
Glutamine (patented stabilized magnesium glycyl glutamine) Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in your body. It’s what your body reaches for during stress and athletic activity. Its job is to promote muscle synthesis and balance intestinal pH. It gets rid of acid buildup in muscles too. The studied version is the only fully stabilized form of glutamine available. Research showed it entered the bloodstream at high levels within minutes of ingestion. This promotes a high presence of growth hormone, which fights aging and strengthens muscle.
I highly recommend educating your patients on the importance of spine-supporting muscle and how to compliment that with the right nutrients.
