Successful Chicago Chiropractor Takes His Practice to the Next Level with the Zone Technique

In the dynamic world of healing, Zone Technique isn’t just a practice — it’s a powerhouse of transformation. Before we delve into a practitioner’s inspiring journey, let’s soak in the essence of Zone Technique, a revolutionary approach that’s rewriting the rules of traditional healing methods.

Zone Technique isn’t your typical healing method; it’s the game-changer that transforms “hit-or-miss” into “hit-after-hit,” where a chiropractor can become an expert healer.

A Zone Technique Practitioner’s Story

By Dr. Derek J. Hartmann, DC

My journey with Zone Technique started in November 2020 with a video of Dr. Pete. I clicked through to the website, watched “The Thriving Healer” webinar, and signed up for the email list. I was intrigued. In July 2021, I jumped in my truck and drove to Des Moines, Iowa, from the suburbs of Chicago for my first Zone School of Healing live event.

I discovered jaw-dropping information, as if to say, “Where has this been my whole career?” This put everything together. One of the key challenges before Zone was that I couldn’t efficiently and confidently address non-musculoskeletal complaints.

My results with musculoskeletal complaints were good and started to get even better as a result of implementing Zone Technique into my practice. After implementing Zone Technique, I now have the tools to address every single patient who will walk into my office and heal them of anything that they may be suffering from.

I was always a good “mechanic” when it came to getting results. I’ve always considered myself a great adjustor of the spine and extremities, but technique without the image attached to it is only as powerful as the physical influence. I had the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy to treat both spinal and non-spinal complaints. I had functional dry needling and various soft tissue and chiropractic techniques at my fingertips.

In December 2018, I was exposed to brain-down pain science principles. This led me down the path that everything may not be broken on the physical plane, but the brain and our hard-wired concepts regarding our pain and systemic complaints may have more to do with how some live in a state of dysfunction.

Zone Technique has allowed me to keep my core principles intact while adding subtle images, concepts, and ideas to the patient encounter to express healing at the highest level. It made me better at building rapport with patients. When rapport and a good image go along with the physical technique, the possibilities for getting results for your patients are endless.

If you want to gain confidence in your practice and positively influence the lives of your patients, then I would strongly encourage anyone who is interested in healing their patients from whatever ails them to take a good hard look at Zone Technique.

I truly believe that the principles that Dr. Pete teaches are the highest level of healing principles known to man, and everything that is a part of Zone School absolutely expresses a true healing art.
