The GCA (German Chiropractic Association) accused me of "teaching chiropractic to lay people." The WFC initially repeated their accusation. Now Dr. Clum says I taught "procedures that, heretofore, were understood to be chiropractic techniques to non-chiropractors." Well, that's a concession on their part I guess. KST is an analysis protocol not, per se, a chiropractic technique. The GCA did not investigate this matter properly; Dr. Clum and David Chapman-Smith of the WFC just took their (wrong) word for it. My actions have helped chiropractic and are fostering dialogue between the Hcilpraktiker (HP) profession and the DC profession. Chiropractors trained in the US may work legally in Germany as HP's. In addition, the Berlin HP school is voluntarily modifying its education to conform to World Health Organization standards. The 36,000 strong HP profession is showing a desire to cooperate with the chiropractic profession. This is more progress in a few months than the GCA, WFC and other organizations have been able to accomplish in forty years. The GCA and WFC should be thanking me for all I have done. I
