From the Director’s Desk

This month, as you may have noticed from the cover, we have a special interview with a practice coach that flips the switch on treating patients. We’ve all had the patient that comes in for the “crack,” treating your expertise as a commodity. In this issue, Dr. Charles Webb wants you to flip the script. Read about his unique insight on page 26 in this exclusive issue.

Also, as you move on in the magazine, take a look at Dr. Mark Studin’s most recent article, “X-Ray Necessity, Safety, and Chiropractic.” Dr. Studin makes some excellent points on the importance of knowing exactly what you are working on when thrusting into the spine. For example, is your patient suffering from AS, DISH, Stenosis, or something worse? These are important questions to ask yourself before treating a patient seeking care. Flip to page 38 now to read what he has found.

Then, reading on, be sure to catch Dr. Loomis’s part VII of his series “Enhancing Immune Function During a Pandemic.” Dr. Loomis has been able to trace many neuromuscular complaints to issues with organs, and vice versa, so take this chance to read a bit about what he has to say on page 44.

All this and more in this November issue of The American Chiropractor, jam-packed as always, so read on from cover to cover!

Keep up the great work!
