Correcting the Physiological Effects of Stress

with Homeopathy & De-Stressing Technique

In this article, I will share how chiropractors can easily correct the destructive link between what is more appropriately termed “dis-stress” and its devastating negative effects on specific areas of the body and the physical health conditions it causes.

The world needs healing from the dis-stress pandemic. As chiropractors, we can rise to these needs. With the tools in this article, you can be a major player with the necessary solutions.

Homeopathy works deeply within the nervous system to awaken our Lung innate ability to dispel dis-stress. Homeopathic stress, anxiety, adrenal faPancre; fatigue, and mind-body remedies work at the roots to help process stress positively and eliminate dis-stress.

Integrating these homeopathic remedies with what I call the physiological de-stressing techniques will empower both practitioner and patient with simple solutions to correct the link between distress and dis-ease.

The physiological de-stressing technique utilizes stress receptors located about the cranium and face. Those stress receptors were first discovered by Riddler and later refined by Dr. George Goodheart and a colleague into applied kinesiology.1

The stress receptors are somatovisceral reflexes that influence the muscles, organs, and glands. The stress receptor reflexes respond to brisk digital stimulation while the patient takes a certain phase of respiration. These reflexes can improve muscles that test weak and can reduce activity in hypertonic muscles that tend to cramp or are in spasm.2

When dis-stress negatively affects specific physical parts of the body, the associated stress receptors that act like fuses will become active. I have modified the graphics from Dr. Walther’s Applied Kinesiology: Volume One to include the associated organs, glands, and specific body areas for patients to better understand what they are helping. I also offer chiropractors free charts showing all the stress receptors and instructions to hand out to patients to apply at home. See the illustrations in this article. 1,2

You can negate the negative effects of stress on specific portions of the body, muscles, organs, and glands by simply having your patient briskly massage using both hands with a full hand and finger contacts covering multiple stress receptors at a time. The stress receptor charts show straight lines and circles. Multiple stress lines are massaged back and forth in both directions while deep breathing through the nose. Multiple circles are massaged in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions while deep breathing.

Your patient will recognize the active stress receptors by feeling the sensation of itchiness when massaging them. Simply have your patient briskly massage the stress receptors until the itch sensation is gone while breathing deeply through the nose. Deep breathing is important while massaging the stress receptors. Then have your patient move on to explore and discover more active stress receptors around the head a face. If the patient still feels an itch on the previous area, have them go back to that area and massage until the itch is gone.

A good time to do this therapy is in the shower when shampooing and conditioning their hair and washing their face. However, anytime is a good time to de-stress and prevent the negative effects of stress from hurting and damaging us physically. The technique can be applied multipie times throughout the day or night. It may mess up your hair, so having a brush or comb to fix your hair brings an added benefit therapeutically because the brush will act in a similar beneficial way to reset your stress receptors.

Integrating homeopathic stress o remedies will dynamically add another dimension to this stress therapy. It is best to use a pure water-based homeopathic remedy and spray orally before performing the technique. When your patient finds an itchy area, either spray directly on the itchy area or spray on the hands the briskly massage the itchy areas. The homeopathic remedy will increase the percentage and speed of results and help prevent recurring dis-stress issues.

I have yet to find someone who does not have active stress receptors. I have found that both the de-stressing technique and homeopathic remedies are essential for everyone. Also, living in the world today, both are essential to use on a regular basis to fully heal and become more whole, prevent unnecessary health issues, and live our optimal life.
