DR. ROBERT DONALD JACKSON JR., 67, passed on April 24, 2025. Born in Denver, Colorado, on December 15, 1957, Rob lived his life fully devoted to helping others.

He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College in 1982 and trained under Clay Thompson to learn the Thompson Technique. His dedication to advancing chiropractic care led him to share his knowledge and expertise internationally, inspiring countless professionals. To further support the field, he founded Back Talk Systems Inc. to equip chiropractors with essential tools and materials. His dedication and impact were widely recognized, as reflected in his two-time honor as Chiropractor of the Year.

Dr. Jackson was unwavering in his commitment to patient care. From 1983 until his parting, he built a community at Applewood Chiropractic Health Center, an integrated practice that provided healing and care to thousands over his lifetime. He even co-authored You Can Expect a Miracle: With Chiropractic, a powerful testament to the life-changing experiences of patients under his and others’ care. Deeply respected and cherished by his patients and peers, he has left a lasting legacy of excellence and compassion.

Rob was a devoted husband to Martha and a loving father to their blended family often children: Miriam (CJ), Jed (Sarah), Caleb (April), Elijah (Jess), Levi (Clara), Micah, Jaime, Hannah (Riley), Raegen (Luuk), and Joel; and his fourteen grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Mitzi, and his three siblings, Daniel, Michael, and Sharon.

Rob Jackson was a man of extraordinary generosity, freely giving his time and resources. Thoughtful, kind, and utterly selfless, he consistently championed others, nurturing their potential and guiding them toward their best selves. He was a gifted listener and offered practical wisdom and unwavering support.

“If people were asked to describe Dr. Rob Jackson, his family, friends, and patients would most likely say Husband, Father, Chiropractor, Healer, Philanthropist, and Businessman. They would say he was a master of Thompson technique, an optimist, kind, happy, brought out the good in humanity, and was always smiling. Rob gave much and asked for little. God only made one Dr. Rob Jackson. We will miss him.” - Kent S. Greenawalt, Chairman and CEO Foot Levelers
