Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment at 35. According to the Bible, Jesus performed his first of many miracles at the age of 30. The Prophet Muhammed was 40 when Allah spoke to him. At 36, I discovered the secret to all healing.

Operating predominantly as a cerebral morphologist, I am naturally motivated by knowledge. In chiropractic school, I was easily interested in anything related to the art and philosophy of chiropractic, and I entertained every technique that was available. I dabbled in books and listened to lectures of prominent names in the chiropractic profession of different generations and varying lineages—Reggie Gold, Sigafoose, Faye, Amo Burnier, and Gentempo, to name a few.

Healing principles are universal and eternal. They were here thousands of years ago when Egyptians first recorded healing methods and remedies for all diseases on papyrus manuscripts.

Whenever possible, I ventured to technique seminars and chiropractic society meetings. The desire to expand my knowledge and skill set as a chiropractor continued well into my private practice years, with focus on philosophy, art, and eventually personal development. Naively enough, I thought that by simply focusing on these areas, I would naturally become better at healing. However, an uncomfortable and sometimes frustrating question always lingered in the back of my mind. “Why do some patients heal, and others do not?” Despite every futile attempt to ignore it, it remained unanswered.

“When the student is ready, the teacher will come”—Buddhist proverb.

Over a decade of exposure to many chiropractic circles, books, and lectures, I never once heard the name Thurman Fleet. It was as if the name were deliberately removed from the history of chiropractic by the powers that be.

Dr. Thunnan Fleet was a war hero, chiropractor, metaphysical teacher, and legendary healer. At the age of 36, Dr. Fleet had an illuminating experience, and the secret to all healing was revealed to him. Equipped with newfound knowledge, Dr. Fleet went on to perform Jesus-like healing and created the healing technique known as Zone Therapy. As his reputation for miracle work spread far and wide, people began to flock to his practice from all over the country. His practice became so busy that the San Antonio police department frequently had to redirect traffic patterns to accommodate the herd of people going to and from his office.

Discovering the healing principles taught by Dr. Fleet has been life and career changing. By applying this knowledge, I have seen patients heal and recover from a wide range of ailments—organic or musculoskeletal—with many cases only requiring a handful of visits. These include deafness, chronic constipation, depression, anxiety, restored movement and muscle mass of extremities in a complete paraplegic to the point they can begin to stand and walk, heart palpitation, blood pressure imbalance, chronic knee and ankle swelling, loss of smell and taste and obstmcted breathing caused by COVID, hemorrhoids, Hashimoto’s and other thyroid imbalance, chronic insomnia, impotence, amenorrhea and dysmenorrhea, enlarged and inflamed prostate, frozen shoulder to full range of motion in four visits, chronic sinusitis, trigger finger, severe vertigo, bloating, indigestion, acid reflux, etc.

As chiropractors, we already possess the ability to positively change a person’s life in a matter of seconds with a beautifully delivered adjustment. When the power of that adjustment is applied skillfully along with universal healing principles, our healing potential has no limit.

The highest level of healing is what’s currently being taught at Zone School of Healing, founded by second-generation Fleet disciple, master healer, and metaphysical teacher, Dr. Pete Goldman. A Life University graduate in the late 1990s, Goldman has studied and carried out Dr. Fleet’s work since his time in chiropractic school, helping countless patients heal from what we would all agree to be difficult-to-impossible cases.

Dr. Goldman’s impressive resume includes getting patients off a liver-transplant list; resolving Parkinson’s; saving the life of a renowned doctor from a rare, debilitating, life-threatening neurological disorder when even top neurologists at Stanford University were at a loss; and aiding professional NFL quarterback Bruce Gradkowski save his career by helping heal a complete AC tear in less than three weeks, a crippling injury that otherwise would have been season ending.

Before Roger Bannister became the first person to accomplish the daunting feat of running the mile in under four minutes nearly 70 years ago, everyone thought it was impossible. Since then, the “four-minute barrier” has been broken by more than 1,600 athletes. Zone School of Healing is revolutionizing chiropractic and taking chiropractors to levels they otherwise would not reach. Through my apprenticeship with Goldman in Zone School’s mastermind program for the past three years, I have come to realize and understand what healing actually is and what it potentially can be.

In conclusion, healing principles are universal and eternal. They were here thousands of years ago when Egyptians first recorded healing methods and remedies for all diseases on papyrus manuscripts. They are here now, and they will continue to be here long after we are gone. Those fortunate enough to discover and harness the power of these healing principles will undoubtedly be rewarded with wisdom of the ages and experience an enhancement in consciousness, inching ever closer to that of the cosmos. After all, isn’t that what we are all here for?
